About Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a technique used along with acupuncture that has anti-inflammatory and immune stimulation properties that continue for days following a single treatment. Using a rounded edge tool made of jade or porcelain, the skin is scraped/rubbed (“gua”) to produce a red skin rash (“sha”). All Gua Sha tools are washed with warm soap and water then sterilized with hospital grade disinfectant.
